Each playable Vault Hunter has a set of skills and skill trees that are unique to every one of them. These provides new abilities, buffs, and more depending on which skills you use in your build. Skill Trees Follow a ThemeAll Skill Trees have a theme that dictates what type of skills they'll have. Example of these themes include elemental damage focus, AOE damage, and even stealth, critical damage! Unlocked by Using Skill PointsSkills are unlocked using Skill Points earned by leveling up your character. Each level up will reward a Skill Point that can be used in any accessible skill in a skill tree. Progress Through Skill Tree to Unlock SkillsPlayers will gain access to more Skills down a skill tree by progressing down through Skill Tree levels.
Increases the amount of damage dealt in a critical hit. Heroes with higher CRIT DMG deal higher damage when they do a critical hit. Base critical dmg multiplier is equal to 0.5x (50% extra dmg ) of total inflicted dmg i.e if a hero is dealing 100k dmg,if he crits its going to deal 150k total Traits:- every lvl 5 crit dmg trait (1000 ) is equal to 0.1x (10% extra dmg) extra dmg. If your HA cannot reduce people's HP from 100-0 or 100-30, I probably recommend you don't bring it because a 30%+ red dmg player can face tank up to 1-3 HA's depending on how well your sockets are (Crit + Max) so you ended up wasting a skill slot for a 180 second cooldown skill that only had a 1 time use (You're never going to pull off a HA twice in PvP realistcally).
You'll need to invest a specific number of Skill Points per level to unlock the each one. Respec in Quick Change StationsAlthough you can activate a Skill on the fly, the only way to redo your skills is by respeccing in the Quick Change Station Every respec will cost money and will return all of your Skill Points. Action Skills are active skills that players can use to change the tide of battle. These are extremely powerful skills, considered as the trump card of each character. Multiple Action Skills to Choose FromAll characters have multiple Action Skills that they can choose to use. Some characters can only have 1 Action Skill, while others can have two at a time. Marked by a Hexagon IconYou'll find out which skills are Action Skills by their icon shape.
Every Hexagone-shaped skill in a Skill Tree is an Action Skill! Passive Abilities provide buffs and new features that will activate on their own. Some of them may have requirements before being used, but players won't have to activate them on their own. Make Use of Multiple Passive AbilitiesSkill Trees are predominantly made up of Passive Abilities. Having multiple of them active at a time is a necessity to progress down Skill Trees and unlock other skills. More Skill Points Invested, the More PowerfulUnlike other types of Skills, Passive Abilities can have multiple action skills added to them. This will make them more powerful with better stats or higher duration.
Action Skill Augments are skills that adds new features to a character's skills. These can include additional status effects, damage, or even attributes to whichever Action Skill is active. Icon is Shaped Like a Downward ArrowIn Character Skill Trees, you'll find skills in the shape of a downward arrow. These skills are Action Skill Augments with each skill trees for every character having multiple of these to chose from. Can Equip Multiple Skill Augments at a TimePlayers can choose multiple Action Skill Augments to use simultaneously. These will not overwrite one another and can combo if their effects work well together. The number of Skill Augments depend on the character.
Does Not Require Skill PointsActivating an Action Skill Augment will not use up any of your Skill Points. They're basically a free Skill you can use so long as you've unlocked it.
Hi again, I can't really help on the PvP side so I'll just be answering the PvE stuffs.Balance Tear Ideally Lvl 2729 would be great, but you can use whatever level tear you get at the moment just to help fill in your Elrianode gear if you're just starting out. You can change to higher ones as you upgrade later on.Destruction Tear Ultimate Fury, Starfall, or Panzer Buster have been some options I've seen used around. Personally, I prefer to stack all Destruction Tears on Ultimate Fury.Proficiency Tear Attack/Attacked Damage on the Top Piece would be a good choice. Despite it sounding bad due to it being a double-edged sword kind of effect, the increase in damage is really worth it.
Party's Physical Attack Power should be good for the Bottom Piece since DM is catered towards Phys, and definitely Strength Stacking for the Gloves so you can constantly dish out high amounts of damage for Ultimate Fury, Starfall, etc. For the Shoes, I would think Dmg Dealt to Boss Monsters or maybe Party's Maximize. The reason I didn't mention -MP Cost or Strength Skill Cooldown Time for the Shoes would be that your passives (Like Control Tower) should be able to cover those areas just fine.TransformationTear Critical Damage is great mostly with some sort of IB set that also contains Critical Damage. Using this stat alone for the Transformation Tear on the Elrianode Gear (w/o an IB set that also contains said stat too) might not work out as well though, so Maximize and Critical are also definite alternative options!I don't think I elaborated much on IBs with the last thread you posted, so I'll be more specific about their stats, etc this time. Some IBs that would work out well in PvE would be Henir - Lord of Time and Space (HL), Evil Tracer 3 (ET3), Salvatore Rosso (SR), White Dragon: Servius (WDS), and Mariposa Requiem (MR).Specifically speaking, HL has good Crit Dmg, with some Phys/Mag Attack Power Boost and Skill Dmg. ET3 has mostly Crit Dmg, but with some Skill Dmg as well. SR mainly focuses on Skill Dmg, but also has Phys/Mag Attack Power.
WDS has a small amount of Phys/Mag Attack Power, but has a lot more Crit Dmg instead of that. MR has a lot of Skill Dmg.If your weapon element is at IV I think you should keep it; I wouldn't really prioritize changing this until most of the above items are complete/dealt with first since elements aren't too big of a factor, especially since PvE does have a lot of mobs with high elemental resistance.I hope this helped once more!
