Adobe AIR is a third party application that provides additional functionality to OS X system and enjoys a popularity among Mac users. However, instead of installing it by dragging its icon to the Application folder, uninstalling Adobe AIR may need you to do more than a simple drag-and-drop to the Trash. Download Mac App Remover.
I have had a very pleasant experience with this app. It is definitely a marked improvement over the default Reader app. Renders 300+PDF documents quickly and smoothly. The print and 'go to' functionality greatly enhance the user experience.Suggestions:1. Custom bookmarks would be good to have, especially since this functionality has been added on the Android version.2.
Microsoft's Reader PDF app has the ability to open up multiple PDFs in tabs. This would be a nice addition to this app as well.Windows 10 Issues:1.
When navigating to a page using the page view or bookmarks, the new page sometimes remains blank until you scroll the page.2. Sometimes there is a significant delay navigating bookmarks. This is evident in both of my devices list below.Devices:MS Surface Pro 2: Core i5, 128gb, 4gb RAM, Windows 10Dell Venue 8 Pro: 64gb, Windows 8.1.
While I had high expectations for Adobe's capability to provide a descent PDF reader for a PC, this has yielded nothing but grief and wasted time when adding comments (highlighting). On a SP3 Pro, Win 10, with all the latest updates, the app consistently fails when resuming from sleep, or switching between other apps. I thought that saving after EVERY change would at least give me the option to reopen upon a forced close of the program - but nope - data corruption of the PDF makes it impossible to open again, even in Acrobat Pro. Use this app only as a Reader is my recommendation. Submitted on 5/15/2017 Review title of ClintonTerrible, Lacking UI,It's nice to see a mobile friendly version of Acrobat Reader with its touch features being fluent and responsive.
However, the UI lacks any options to change your document to a two page or a cover two page layout. In addition, getting to the options is not user-friendly trying to access the view menu and such. In certain views of the document, the options become a bit difficult to access with no indications of where to tap/touch to show it. The Reader Touch does not have not even a third of what its desktop counterpart has in comparison. Also, it does not support Interactive PDF files. Tap on a marked area, nothing happens.
The only thing that works is the bookmark links. There are a lot of improvements needed for this program sadly. Submitted on Review title of JamesGreat AppI've used this app for nearly two years to proofread. As a lite option, it renders docs as they were meant to be seen.As I delve deeper into desktop publishing, I must move up to the full version, which includes file properties that reveal imbedded fonts. It's been a great product.' Alas, poor Yorick!
I knew him, Horatio: a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy: he hath borne me on his back a thousand times; and now, how abhorred in my imagination it is! My gorge rims at it. Here hung those lips that I have kissed I know not how oft. Where be your gibes now?
Your gambols? Your flashes of merriment, that were wont to set the table on a roar? Not one now, to mock your own grinning? Quite chap-fallen? Now get you to my lady's chamber, and tell her, let her paint an inch thick, to this favour she must come; make her laugh at that.'
